Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Brazil in Q4 2021

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top navigation and maps apps on the iOS platform in Brazil showcased diverse performance trends. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics for the top five apps in this category, according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 107K in the week of November 8. Active users also followed an upward trajectory, starting from around 4.95M at the beginning of the quarter and reaching about 5.54M by mid-December.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced notable growth in weekly downloads, which surged to nearly 69K by the final week of December. Active users similarly increased, from around 3.17M at the start of the quarter to approximately 3.73M by the end.

Google Earth had relatively stable weekly downloads, fluctuating between 6.5K and 8K throughout the quarter. Active users showed minor variations, maintaining a range between 35K and 42K.

Google Street View maintained a consistent download rate, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching about 2.4K in the last week of December. Active users saw a steady rise, ending the quarter at approximately 2.7K.

LeisecaMaps displayed a significant spike in weekly downloads in early December, hitting nearly 2.8K. Active users also saw an overall increase, climbing from around 2.5K at the start of the quarter to about 2.5K by the end.
